New Year's Wisdom

Updated: Jan 27, 2023

How are those resolutions going? Here are some healthy rules to take with you on your journey through 2023. Follow them and make your year the healthiest yet!

Drink 64 ounces of water each day. Add an extra glass of water for every caffeinated drink you have.

Throw away all foods that contain hydrogenated oils (trans-fats) and food coloring. These are associated with cancer, pain, brain damage and hyperactivity. When shopping, you’ll find companies that make the same foods without these poisonous critters. Read labels and try the health food section.

Take a 20 minute “Power Nap” during the day instead of hitting the snooze alarm or trying to squeeze in some extra sleep time. Your morning will be less stressed and you’ll feel more rested and energized throughout the day.

Check the headrests in your car. The top of the headrest should be at or above the middle of your head to prevent severe neck damage in car accidents.

Make sure you have two flexible gel ice packs in your freezer for injuries. After an acute injury you’ll want to have ice on for 15 minutes and off 15 minutes over and over.

Buy some homeopathic “Traum-eel” drops and gel to use after injuries. Pick up “Rescue Remedy” for stress and trauma after an injury or anytime. Take a multi-vitamin daily.

Take 20 slow, deep breaths daily. Add another 10 when you feel stressed or angry. Do this in the car and you’ll be a safer driver.

Happy New Year!

Yours in Health,
